Inferno Ch3

And so we move forward in this manga. Only one chapter left until its end, it's a fast paced serious. I wonder how everything's going to wrap up? Well, at least the chapters are relatively long. :)

Just a note, and a bit spoilery if you haven't read the first chapter. I translated Kiki's position as 'Enma Raja', and sometimes he's just called 'Enma'. Enma actually means something like the devil, or ruler of the realm of the dead. So that's the position Kiki holds/held. :)

Also, the religion in this manga appears to be Buddhism, so when they talk about the transmigration of the soul it's the cycle of rebirth. I'm not too clear on the princples, but this article might clear some things up.

Spoiler: (Kind of) From some hints dropped in this chapter, I think it's pretty clear that Kinume's dead. Otherwise, how else would the katana have cut him? Of course, this might not be true, as I haven't looked too closely at the last chapter yet. So at this point it's all speculation, but the evidence is all pointing that way, at least for me. :)

After causing the destruction of his parents, the protagonist only lives for the sake of his younger sister and avoids other people. However, a mysterious stranger appears that calls him his master and life changed forever from this point.
